Tracks the ground like a Rover
What if you could have the best of two worlds?
After the successful launch of the limited Moto V2 suspension set, which introduced the hybrid air / coil shock for the first time, we have now adapted the design to the most recent Monocoque design. The idea is simple: Have a coil shock for the initial suppleness of the stroke – have that bottomless progression at the end for deep and fast hits.
Where are the differences to our Originals Hover shock?
There are none. The shock has the same damping curve, also uses air spring seals and chambers to adjusting the pressure to your liking and riding style, and offers the same reliability, long term service-free setup and our 6 years experience in making high end shocks went into this project. When to choose Hover or Rover?
Weight is a topic, from you as a rider, as well as on the shock itself. The Rover FE has rider weight range from 90-130kg, the Rover TI from 65-90kg. for some heavier riders, the Rover is the only chance, as the Hover Monocoque air shock has a limit to 105kg rider weight. If you have the wish for marginal gains on performance and the few grams and bucks up-charge don’t kill you – the Rover will be your favorite shock.Mind the weight range!
It’s important you pay attention to the weight range and select the shock version which corresponds to your rider weight. The shock requires a min. pressure of 200 psi, if you go below 200 psi it can cause the hydraulic section to malfunction, resulting in loss of damping.Available Dimensions

- Rover Ti: 205TR/230x65mm

Steel / Titanium:
There are two spring rates available. If you weigh below 90kg, choose Titanium (Ti). If you weigh above 90kg choose Steel (Fe).
Stroke reduction:
All standard strokes can be reduced by 2.5/5/7.5 mm. For instance, if you want a 205×60 shock, choose a 205×65 shock with a -5 mm stroke reduction.
Bushing Options:
If you choose to buy our bushings, your shock will be delivered fully assembled with included bushings, ready for immediate use. We precisely match the bushing to the axle, and document the exact axle diameter on your order sheet. That way we know exactly which size to send you, if you should ever require a new one.
Additional Information:
If you are unsure about compatibility with your frame, bushing size, bushing bolt diameter, stroke reduction, or tune, don’t hesitate to consult with us. While most frames fit easily, we are happy to provide confirmation! Check our compatibility chart for your frame of choice. If your frame is not listed, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t fit. In that case simply contact us and we will figure it out.
