ARC8 bikes

ARC8 is one of the newest brands for us at EightyOneSpices and we are honored to bring this progressive brand to our shores.

We can offer just the frames, complete bikes and anything in between. The range is fantastic. The Escapee DB is a great all-road bike, the Eero covers all gravel and adventure needs incredibly well. The Extra is the long standing Enduro bike, whereas the Evolve FS and the Essential are two shorter travel bikes, all equipped with their signature slider suspension. Last but not least is the Evolve HT, their lightweight hardtail offering. As such, a broad range of bicycle categories is covered in a fantastic range of spec options with two colour options for each model in what ARC8 call wild or mild.

ABOUT ARC8

It was clear from the beginning that ARC8 should not be the classic bike brand. "We provide an alternative for people who are tired of riding an off-the-shelf bike by making custom bikes more affordable. As bike enthusiasts, not salespeople, we strive to make the bikes you and we want to ride. Everyone is different and everyone’s riding style is different, and so should be their bikes. The focus of our brand is on the riders. Providing them with the best possible equipment for maximum performance and riding pleasure is our mission.

This means we can provide you with reliable designs, lightweight frames and all the features you need, but no extra gimmicks for marketing purposes. The Story

ARC8’s two founders, Serafin Pazdera and Jonas Mueller (below), spent much of their youth together, as classmates, bike messengers, or while training to become snowboard instructors.

But then their paths diverged: Serafin turned to graphic design and web development, while Jonas studied mechanical engineering and developed frames for renowned bicycle brands. When Jonas decided to start his own business and asked Serafin if he could develop a website to promote his engineering services, it quickly became clear that they could achieve much more together. That was the beginning of ARC8.
