The Cura 4 Kashima benefits from Formula’s extensive experience with Miyaki’s renowned Kashima Coat® treatment, already proven for years on our high-end suspension components. Applied to the master cylinder piston in their factory in Japan, this exclusive finish reduces friction, delivering an even lighter, smoother and more consistent lever action in every condition.
The four 18 mm pistons continue to provide exceptional stopping power with unmatched modulation and control. Combined with the optimized pad surface and increased pad thickness, the Cura 4 Kashima offers progressive, confidence-inspiring braking from aggressive enduro stages to full downhill race tracks.
This premium edition now comes equipped as standard with our two-piece FCS lever. Featuring tool-free reach adjustment and Formula’s unique Feeling Control System, riders can fine-tune the brake character to match their riding style, choosing between a more progressive or more direct lever feel with absolute precision.
Like every Cura brake, the Cura 4 Kashima is fully forged and anodized to guarantee maximum structural integrity, long-term durability and low weight.
