The ratchet upgrade ensures your Syntace HiTorque MX Rear 12 hub has the newest technology. First generation Syntace rear hubs (up to approx. April 2014) were not equipped with this upgrade. If you are the owner of a first generation Syntace rear hub, please get in touch and we can supply a free upgrade.
